About
Nelson Pou, M.D., received his medical training at Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He has nearly 30 years of experience and is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Pou is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (FACOG) and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He also completed an integrative medicine fellowship in 2019 and is certified in electronic fetal monitoring (C-EFM). Dr. Pou is fluent in English and Spanish and is a member of the medical staff at Carlsbad Medical Center.
